Sorry to take the other point of view, but if Hamas would quit firing rockets into the cities of Israel many times a day there would be no need for retaliation.
I'm proud of the patience Israel has shown over the past decade. If someone were attacking the US or Russia you could be sure their piece of land would become a parking lot.

Hamas has allowed and encouraged this to continue and they are paying the price today. A heavy price at that.

I personally hope Israel levels Gaza and the West Bank and secures her borders against the extremists that would wipe Israel off the face of the Earth.

Just wondering, are you Muslim by any chance? Had to ask as I find most, if not all, Muslims cater to this attitude against the Israelis...If you aren't, then you're not aware that for some 8 YEARS now, Hamas has been sending southern Israel their crude yet deadly rockets?

Getting hit by weapons of war cause either injury or death, to young and old alike. No need to over-dramatize the effect of it on children. Your heart should bleed for children affected on BOTH sides, and not simply for the Gazans. There's hardly been any news on the effects of Hamas' terrorism to children for all these years, and you won't get it unless you search for it. Your accusations against Israel's desire to kill innocent children is wrong. Warnings were given to the Gazans to flee before this war started, and again, when it escalated. Some got out, most ignored it. I think you've bought into Hamas propaganda which plays up the deaths of Palestinians in Gaza. With Israel's military capability, if they wished to commit mass killings, that whole strip of land could have been left devoid of life by now. It's really too bad civilians are caught in the crossfire between Israel and Hamas, and this is an understatement.
