Every once in a while, you come across a fictional character that you definitely do not want to be associated comic book guy. You will find yourself harbouring similar feeling towards finster the protagonist in fanboy The basic story line is really simple years of reading comic books devotedly have made it hard for finster to differentiate between the real world and the imaginary one. He constantly gives way to fantasy- little imaginative dreams where he is leading a much more exciting and adventurous life than theone he's currently leading. In his fantasies he llusts after beautiful women, goes to war, fights horrible crimes and occasionally saves the world. In the real world however he does not have date for the high school. The book is filled with good, easy humour and there are several jokes aimed at comic book
