How do you spent the eve of the spring festival?

we spend the time much the same as you.for the North areas,dumplings are a very traditional food and widely spreaded in the North China.have some drink with our friends and families,eat something specially prepared for the day.play games with my family or others and saty up till midnight or even the dawn.I used to stay awake till 4or 5o'clock in the morning but now I just stayed until midnight.there is not as much fun as before,one reason is that maybe I get old and become an adult,I mean when I was young,I expect the spring festival very much but now,it's just a normal day of a year to me.All I want to do is with my family,let my parents be happier that day.ok,so much today.happy Mylot,fishpool,your English is good.happy Lunar new year to you in advance:)
