Looking forward to the new "Lost" season, but...

I don't know how many of you watch Lost. I do, and in the middle or towards the end of the season I don't look forward to the ending, usually because I just think I figured out what's going on and there's no way I'm going to remember for nine months.
The problem with his show is the plot is so complicated and there are so many story lines, real and imagined, past and present that getting back into it is frusturating. Also, I heard they are going to continue on story line that hasn't been seen since season 2.
Outside of re-watching past seasons, how does everyone else catch up on the story line? Or, do I just have a bad memory?

I didn't like 'lost' at first but then one day I decided to watch it and it's pretty cool it's like a survivor version of a soap oprah.

I was hooked on Lost even though it drove me crazy. I would tape it every week and watch in on Saturday night. Well, I still have the season finale from last season on tape and haven`t watched it yet. I think they re-ran it this week but I wasn`t interested. There has been such a long gap between seasons that I think I have really lost interest. Plus it`s all so unrealistic now. It`s almost like sci-fi which is my least favourite genre. sad

This is a good question. Yep, it is very hard to catch up with the story lines, even it was several months ago. My way is to refer to some series forums. Otherwise, you may glance at the last seasons once again. Which do you prefer? Hah~
