gbeast95 (317) | 11 months ago | i don't think i would want to lose xp so do u know wat barrows can let me get good bonus but not get me close to dying?

uath13 (3755) | 11 months ago | I wouldn't touch the stuff myself. They degrade, cost a lot to repair if you use them regularly & can give out on you in the middle of battle. I'd stick to the regular non degrading armors if I had the choice.

gbeast95 (317) | 11 months ago | do u mean like dragon armor??
| |
|
|
uath13 (3755) | 11 months ago | Here's a quick list of NON degrading armors starting from the weakest ( & thus cheapest ) to the most expensive. Upper tier only
Melea
Rune - Rockshell - Trimmed & gilded rune Granite Dragon chain set Bandos Dragon Plate set & 3rd age
Range
Spined Red Dragonhide Black Dragonhide 3rd age Armadyl
Mage ( here things vary more chose by the situation your heading into )
Splitbark & skeletal ( highly defensive mage armor ) Mystic & Dagon Hai ( offensive armors ) Infinity ( super offensive armor )
...There are others but they're untradable & you have to earn them in a minigame....

gbeast95 (317) | 11 months ago | i guess im gonna use either bandos or dragon, i probibally use dragon

| TheBushHead (5) | 11 months ago | Yeah like everybody else said. barrows is great armor dharoks is best. but i degrades and costs too much for upkeep. full dragon armor is also expensive. I reccomend using fighting torso(obtained at barbarian assault) Bersker helm or neitznot helm. dragon or rune legs. a rune defender. obsidian or legends cape. and dragon boots. these have great strength bonus with a high defense bonus

uath13 (3755) | 11 months ago | The fighter torso has pathetic defensive stats. Most players only use it for the strength bonus & rely on their prayer to protect them when using it. Granite, rune or rockshell would be a relatively cheap alternative with higher defensive stats.

2. Toony182 (259) | 11 months ago | It's hard to say which set would maximize attack, as none of them give a strength or attack bonus. The only set to give extra damage is Dharoks, and that's only when low on HP.
(Full) Torags is the best set for defence, but it is not better than all other types of Barrows.
Dharok's has the same defence as torags, except for the helm. Guthan's has the same defence except for the skirt. Verac's has the same defence except for the brassard (all parts also have lower range and mage defences)
If you want an armor with a strength bonus, get Bandos. It's pretty expensive, but it does give a strength bonus. Penance torso from Barbarian Assault also gives a strength bonus, but with less defence.
Barrows is primarily for defence, each having its own effect in battle...I would say go with Guthan's for the healing effect, or Verac's for its prayer bonus and ability to hit through defence bonus.

3. luvandpower (909) | 11 months ago | I would not reccomend barrows, it degrades, then it costs YOU money to get it back up, so what I reccomend is to use bandos, it is expensive, so no offense, but you probably won't have for a very long time gbeast. I don't even have a quarter of the cash to buy a bloody 21m platebody...

gbeast95 (317) | 11 months ago | wtf 21m just for platebody? that's it im gonna stick to dragon plate set
