Man accused in Miss. of threat on the internet to kill President Elect Obama

With a very high powerful of having great responsibilities and duties can always be dealt by a very high powerful of struggling to trying and testing the abilities to govern for such a great very high powerful nation.

It's truly sad that someone would even do such a thing. But if you are of any fame or life in the public eye it seems occurences become more common. Really people need to find better POSITIVE things to do with their time rather than meddle in foolishness. If they want to improve our nation start with your family's values and your own community!!

Well the stupid idiot. Everyone knows it is against the law to threaten the life of the president. YOu can not say it, write it, blog it, text it or anything. The guy is getting what he deserves.
Every president has had death threats or attempts on their lives. So do not make this into a "black" issue or an "Obama" issue. He is not special in this reguard. Every president has had some stupid person or people try to do them in.

Not really enough information to go on, the article was pretty sparse and no detail is given as to why it would be for the "country's own good". I have seen plenty of posts in other forums that saw doing in Bush for the same reasons as in the best interests of the future of our country. while there are racists, always will be, many of these sentiments are not base in race but in fear of the loss of liberty and the republic. To automaticly apply racists elements to this misses the greater issues of concern. The loudest and most blatent call for revolution I saw after the elections, came from someone who was black.

Truthgully I don't think it matters who is president, there are always going to be people out there that don't necessarily like the choice their country had made. I don't think there has been a president yet, that wasn't threatened in one way shape or form. I think that it is all part of being in a position of power, there are always going to be people that don't think they deserve it. I just hope that people learn that Violence is not the way to solve ANYTHING!

And so it begins. Sad that the man is not even in office yet and they are already talking presidential assasination. These fools need to realize that he has already been elected and nothing they do can change that because ultimately that is what they are trying to change. They don't have a clue as to where this presidency will take the country. (None of us really do yet) They are just steamed because this election has occurred.

I think this guy is the real threat to freedom and justice and various other values America embraced, it is better off for the country to hang him before he carry out the assassination like other loons .

Interesting story. I was surprised racism was not the motive since, as you pointed out in another discussion, racism is very prevalent in some parts of our country. Perhaps even more surprising is that anti-semitism was his motive! This assassin-wannabe is clearly a nut-job but that doesn't diminish his potential danger. These are very tough times for US citizens, especially those who are already psychologically on the edge - several different pots ready to boil over - regrettably, this is not likely to be the final instance of someone plotting Obama's assassination. I sure hope we can continue to stop them.

I worry about him. I'm afraid some wacko will shoot him, especially with his inauguration tomorrow. I truly hope America has involved more than that, but this guy is evidence that we really haven't evolved as much as I thought and hoped. I wouldn't have liked it if McCain got elected, but I certainly wouldn't have shot him. But then again, I'm normal.
