When will people stop wishing 'Happy New Year'?  |

 Some even wished me Happy New Year today.
I have stopped wishing it since the 3rd of this month. I met those person for the first time in this year okay, but is it a time to wish a happy new year.

But I also face people who still keep on wishing about the new year when it is already 20 days old.But i don't mind it anyway,aas i think all the wishes are made with a good heart & they will only do good to us. So why irritate on something that is doing good to us!!

I think it is just a nice gesture and why be bothered by someone whishing you happiness?? I think it is just very nice of that person
So i;m wondering ... what did you answer? did you wish it back or did you tell them how awkward you thought it was?

10.  suspenseful (17150) | 1 year ago |  If they are Ukrainian they go by the Julian rather then the Gregorian calender and their New Years will come later then ours. We had the same problem in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Canada. We had a large Ukrainian population so when holidays came, it did not just stop on January the first, it continued on until the 14ths. So if you hear Happy New Year on the 14th of January, he is probably Russian, Greek, or Ukrainian Orthodox and is using the Julian calender.
