Hi friends and mylotters! Today i come up with the 6th part of my "The best horror movies" series! If you read my first four posts about "Horror movies", then you will know: From the classics to the new era of horror...i just love it!

The 6th movie i want to talk about is:

John Carpenter's Halloween (1978)

Halloween is an american horror film from the year 1978. It is set in the fictional town of Haddonfield, Illinois.
Before the movie was titled "Halloween" it had the name: "The Babysitter Murders". John Carpenter was the director of the movie!
The main "badguy" in the movie is the character of an evil and nearly indestructible maniac with the name Michael Myers. Michael Myers escapes from a psychiatric hospital, and murders a lot of teenagers. So a Dr. Loomis is hunting Myers everywhere and attempts to track and stop him. Halloween has been regarded as a classic among horror films, and as one of the most influential and popular horror movies of its era.
Halloween became one of the most profitable independent films ever made. It had onla a budget of $325,000, but grossed $47 million at the box office in the United States! That would be equivalent to over $150 millions today!
