History in the Making!

Daily events are becoming history all the time, What should really be said is,
" an event that will be recorded in history"
I don't think I'm making any conspicuous history, after all, there's nothing new under the sun, cats have been skinned and cream pies made since the dawn of time.

You know, I happen to agree with this, Monk, although I have never thought of it so literally before. Even though my history may mean nothing to you or vice versa, we are all making history in our own lives and the lives of our loved ones.

What history am I making? Just trying to make a difference, just livin' the life.

well nowadays i am trying to study hard as my high school examinations are near. THere is a lot of pressure. I had never studied this much ever. I never thought that i will study this much on an average.

I think what they really mean is...important history. Sure, every single thing that happens is actually making history. But only the memorable, important events will be documented in history books, and remembered. Like say...two people get lost out at sea...and say they get eaten...by...I don't know, anything. Now if nobody finds out about it, it wouldn't be considered "history in the making"...even though they really did make history. If somehow the media got a hold of this story, then it would be something of importance to people, but only because they found out about it...and it would be televised. Then it would be marked as an important event that took place, something that people could learn from. Who knows, maybe even a movie would be made about it

Ok so we all make history every day.
Some people make it with more noise than others and some make it more often by making a comeback.
I'm making no history worth mentioning here. It would be a waste of space.

I'm raising my children to carry on values and traditions to their own. I am oil painting too.lol I guess that will be my history.

we all make history in a way or other; first we make our own history, our family...if somebody after 50 years will see my hoto..i am already history; are people who maked bi history too, i was alive when was Revolution in 1989 in my country, so this is in all history book, mean that i was in a country history if i want or not; we all make history, day by day; maybe after 2 eneration, somebody will discover something imortant in my life...yes history is making

I like this question.I think it is because every second is meaningful to us,so they like use the word "history" to express the importance of that moment.The history I have made today was complete the assignment I planned yesterday.hehe....
In fact,I think the real history is made by time not the news.
