Got a Spider Bite today!!! Stinkin Creatures!!

HI SuzyQ; Yeah I hate them too, any of them; Neosporin is good for most things but
if you do ever get a spider bite, go get yourself a can of this prid;

A spider bite is not like most normal bites of other insects, a spider bite
is a chewed out looking "hole" in your flesh, and it has red marks all around it
to show its got a fever there, and so it is just a trip to say the least;

All afternoon I've been on this fever run from it, its a feeling of some sort of
"high" one would have from a drug or other things;

My arm is swollen and not sure how much longer I'll be able to sit and or do
any typing today or tomorrow??

Hey Girlfriend: LOL! I had to laugh at your post, sorry but it struck me so
funny as I'm still on a "fever rush" here; damn spider!!

here is my answer to your question on how I know its a spider bite;

for one I've had so many of them, and #2 its a chewed out looking hole they leave
on your skin area and as it worsens from the poison it ( the chewed out hole) widens
until its ready to start ozzing out its puss.. very nasty;

I hate spiders I really do and I hate this feverish spider "rush" I'm on too
all afternoon while laying in bed having all sorts of crazy dreams....

not fun not fun at all!! woohoo ( cheap high for sure) painful one but cheap!

Ah dreams - the kind that make good things happen when real life doesn't. I dreamt about Tom this morning. And, not MY Tom. Let me tell you, it was a very nice dream that felt so real (and, no, not THAT kind of dream). Just warm and fuzzy. Not like the spider nightmares I used to have before I moved away from home. Black widow spider nightmares where I'd see spiders covering me in the bed. God, how I hated those dreams. They stopped when I left home.

I was gonna post some more last night but my head hurt so bad and these stupid
flashy ads on here were like triple bright and I just could not face the ad flashing blinking lights on here I know mylot needs them the advertisements but good grief
those damn things drive me nuts sometimes, well ALL THE TIME!!!

If I lived somewhere where a spider chased me then I would move to another state. I am terrified of them, really terrified.

That's why there's always a can of Raid, a big shovel and an even bigger baseball bat nearby. LOL

Hey Katlady; Yeah I hate the darn things, and no matter where it is I live or what I do outside, I draw them like magnets to me; I think this one must've been
some how in my coat sleeve I've never had a bite in this area before stupid thing!

so I hope its either dead after biting me or is out of my coat sleeve I'll have
to do a good inspection of my coat before putting it on tomorrow;

I hate those big nasty hairy looking spiders and there are some doozies here
where I live now those I could see, first I shriek when I see one then I go
after it with a shoe or broom or something to kill the darn things...(shudder)!!!!

We have the big fuzzy black ones with the white spots on them....and those not so little suckers will actually JUMP at you! I swear they can fly. I've about given hubby a heart attack from screaming at one that was flying at my face! I hate those things with a passion!

Wolf spiders! They're the bravest damn spiders I've ever seen. They'll turn and hiss at you if they think you're a threat!! Kind of reminds me of that poster that shows a a mouse flipping off an eagle just before the claws get him - one last act of bravado.

Yeah guys I hate those big wolf type spiders myself too!! they do get really
threatening with us when we try to kill them (G)!!

HI Cynthiann: Yes I have seen that and its just staggering at the amount
of those darn things that come out of them in a rush of speed, that happened
to me once when I was still living out at the farm and found the big spider
in the basement and was trying to kill the darn thing when it spit out all those
itty bitty beastly little nasty spiders, boy did I shriek for sure then and was
trying to find some spray to kill them all...(( big old shudder))!!!

I hate spiders!!! I really really do!!!

I was bitten several years ago by one of those darn brown recluse spider's

I was sick as a dog for a few days on that one, and I was trying to care for
my sick Mother at the time;

I did have to go to my doctor for antibiotics that spider bite was a 2 month
process of trying to heal up my ankle area where it had bitten me and there was
so much dead skin ( black dead skin) and puss and My Doctor agreed with me
that the Prid was doing a good job of healing me but it took a good two months
by the time it healed up like my other spider bites before, I had no scar or
nothing, the prid had closed it all up nicely;

Love Prid!!!

out no matter where I live;

HI there Mechanic: I was gonna try to post some more last night but my head
was hurting me so badly and these blasted blinking stinking ads on here were making
me "Mental" LOL!! So I went to bed (G)!

Yeah this Prid really is good stuff for infections like that to draw out the puss
and nasty stuff, its good for when you get thorns or splinters or bits of glass
embedded in your skin it helps to draw it out, just make sure you put a big bandaid
on the sore area the prid is like black axle grease (*G)!! Not good on stains on
your clothes but it does wash out LOL!

Vampire bites huh?? ROTFL!! hmmm maybe you had bed bugs?? Have you seen that stuff on TV?? That's some scary sh!t now to see what we all are really sleeping with each night ( major shudder)!!

AAARGH! BEDBUGS! NO please, thank you.
Yeas, I've watched those shows and they are the reasons I hate to even think about Hotels or Motels.
My bite: was always fresh and in the same place, EVERY morning! That's why Vampire: and they were pretty small.

Talk about a coincidence; last night I watched Animal Planet and there's a guy that actually travels the world seeking Tarantulas --I didn't know there were that many kinds-- and he has over a hundred specimens, and lets the%#@*^ things walk all on him!! SICK!!!

I used to always watch Fear FActor when it was on NBC, loved that show, BUT I swear
to you I could not watch it when they had them damn Tarantula's on and covered
people up with them.....IT JUST MADE ME CRAZY!!!

I don't care what they were paying for a prize!! NO THANKS!! I'd have to be out

YEs I Love vitamin E I've never tried it on spider bites but after reading what you said I have no doubt it would in fact heal you right up and leave no scars, Prid
does that too, heals up that hole the spiders chew on us and gets all that nasty
stuff out, closes up the skin and Wa-La No scar!!

watch out for those darn spiders that's awful to get that many at one time,
one bite at a time is plenty....but eewwwEEWWW!!!

OH{{ OREO}}}! I think I would've made a new door opening If I had seen that in

Hi dear Tiara: How are you?? I've not heard from you in so long, how was your holidays??

I've been terribly busy myself trying to earn a dime daily...but I'm so glad you
stopped by here;

no, I never saw the darn spider, just the after effects, it never takes long for
it show up on my skin, with my crappy immune system ( I'm such a puss these days)
so the swelling and redness are almost immediate on me, the headache, the fever,
what a fever rush I had yesterday, crazy dreams and I just feel like I"m having
such an out of body experience while my body fights the infection off, crazy I know.

I'm doing better today, gonna change my bandage here in a bit, and re doctor it up;
but no fever today, so that's good; I've plenty of antibiotics around here too so
I won't have to go see the doctor or nothing which is good (G)! I go enough as it is;

Goodo Jan that you have the antibiotics..did they give you an injection, a shot at the docs or hospital? And yes, my holidays were most different as usual, sort of an out of body experience as you had mentioned LOL xoxoxo hahhah Love and Hugs

HI Tiara: No, I didn't go to the hospital or anything so no injections for me,
just treated myself with my handy dandy PRID and a big bandaid and some other
meds I had on hand here. Just call me Dr. Jan LOL!
