So Just maybe the one you are closet to. Would like to meet more people from Texas. I was born in Georgia and rasied in Arkansas. Got married and moved to Texas and have been here every since.

I am in the panhandle of Oklahoma
the town i live in is divided in half
half is in Texas and the other half is in Oklahoma
my teenager goes to middle school in Oklahoma but my lil ones go to elementary school in Texas
its confusing LOL

My bro in law lives on the Texas side and my mom and sister and grandma all live in the Arkansas side. So when we make a trip down there I go see my family and my husband goes to see his family. My family live maybe an hour away from my bro in law.LOL | |

2.  Qaeyious (1294) | 11 months ago |  It has been a while since I lived in Texas - my first residency was my first attempt at college in 1976-1977 at Stephen F Austin State University in Nacogdoches. - I'm surprised I can still spell it.
I spent a summer in Waco afterwords.
I tried college in Texas because my step Father was a resident there. Our actual residence (he was in the military, so we were physically in various locations) but legally, it was in Victoria. I never lived there personally, but visited relatives in the area.

| 3. palonghorn (3741) | 11 months ago |  I lived in Texas for 45 years before moving to Pennsylvania! Don't ask, lol I'm planning a move in the next month or two to South of the Mason/Dixon line. Anyway, I was born in Dallas, lived in Corpus Christi, the Hill Country, Austin, for a very short time in Waco and El Paso. So I've pretty much seen most of Texas. And yes, I've even been up in the panhandle, never lived there, but have been there. So, what part of Texas are you living in?
