What Series could you not stop reading?  | |  I watched the movie Twilight in 2008 and it was ok, but wasn't totally impressed by it. My sister was a Twilight junkie so I ended up watching the movie for a second time. It was ok but I couldn't see the big deal. My sister got the first two books of the series for Christmas and asked me to read them (she read the first one like three times). I agreed to give the book a try and I couldnt stop reading them. Half way done with the first book I ordered the 3rd and 4th so they would be at the house before I finished the fist two. I read all 4 books in 7 days. It totally consumed my time and my dreams, I couldnt put them down. They are not the normal books that I read, and this has been the only time I read a complete series back to back cause i couldnt put it down.
Have you ever had a book series consume you until you read every last book?

I am not usually a series type person. For some reason I don't like reading the same author back to back. But I did stumble across the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich a few years back and fell in love with it. Even though I love it, I need to read something else before reading the next one in the series.

I finally got caught up to the point I had to wait on the books to come out and I just fell out of love with it. I stopped reading around book 6. I should have finished it.
Now I've started reading the Twilight series, but I'm only on book 2. I never got into Harry Potter...The only words I've read of any of those books was the last few pages of the last book.
