I got married last January 21, 2009. Wednesday. wub

The day after President Obama's inauguration. It was a very simple wedding yet full of love and adoration.

Yesterday, we went to Meijer, there was one employee there who was always looking at me whenever we go to Meijer's. But, yesterday when this guy saw us going out of the car and heading to the entrance of the supermarket, he went out and asked my name, asking if I was with Dennis.

I hold Dennis hand and showed the guy the wedding ring that is in my ring finger, and so as Dennis while saying "WE just got married yesterday". The guy could not believe it, hahaha.. He said in a loud voice "NO WAY!" lol

Had this happen to you? Someone asked your name when obviously, you are with someone?

Congratulations to the both of you. I have had this happen to me a lot when I was married. I think it is because men know that there isnt a commitment when you are married. I just don't get it, now that I have no ring noone asks my name anymore lol.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! It's really fun to see couples getting married. Your husband must have been so proud when that guy asked you because you are with him! I don't think I remember an incident wherein a guy would ask me out though I'm with my guy. Maybe because we are so affectionate even when we are in public! Haha! I wish you both well!

Thank you, borg.. I do not know what made that guy to asked me my name when he always sees us together when we go there. Just like you, we are also affectionate to each other and my husband is a very sweet gentleman. He would always kiss me wherever we are. Maybe, I am so attractive that he could not resist my charm? hahaha

Haha! It feels really nice also when somebody admires you other than your partner so that way they will feel more lucky to have us! Haha! It's also nice of your guy when he didn't get mad when the guy asked for your name =)

I have been asked out by another man when I was with my husband before. confused We both had our rings on. We figured he was from another culture that didn't recognize wedding rings. He was very gentlemanly about it, shook my husband's hand and offered him a compliment about me. We still laugh about it years later.
