Snorkeling at hanauma bay , hawaii  

My hubby and I visited hawaii last oct 08 and we had a blast. We took a military hop to hickam afb so the rest of the time , we spent it on the island of oahu. We went to the dole plantation, went shopping at waikiki, walked along the beaches, ala moana, drove along the highway around the whole island. The views were breathtaking and the beaches are beautiful. Kailua beach has white sands and the color of the water is gorgeous. But hanauma bay is the place to go ! Admission is free for military members, water is shalow so even if you don't know how to swim you can still take a dip and jst float around with your snorkels. The fish there are so tropical and seeing them jst will blow you away. Even the turtles! I can't wait to go back and mayb this time I'll also check out the big island.
