Dog Whisperer trains children too  

OOh! That programme shows over here in the UK. But I have never watched it. But I definately shall now if the techniques work on children too!
The big question though is do they also work on men?

Will it work on Wives too zuke? I have never seen the show, but I've heard about this guy and I think he was on Oprah one time? I am not surprised his techniques would work in many different situations and on many different subjects though. I am trying to think of an example of something I may have learned on TV and then twisted slightly to suit a purpose, but I'm coming up short. Does singing kid's songs I heard on Barney at someone just to annoy them count?

Yeah I have taken cooking techniques from shows and used them but nothing more than that. LOL!! But I have to say that I haven't watched the dog whisperer at all. I have seen him on an episode of BONES but other that that nope haven't watched the show. I have really been restricting my tv time actually. LOL!!

Interesting. I just use "the look". Scares the crap out of the kids and I never have to say a word. Even works on the neighbor kids and I've been told I'm scary. Some even believe I'm a witch, seriously. My own kids think it's funny.

I watch the Dog Whisperer on occasion and find I bring something learned away each time. It wasn't on when my son was little but it certainly would have come in handy as he was a handful. I used to call him the terrorist tot.

WOOT!! I've been saying that for YEARS!! I love Cesar..you can imagine he has the best behaved children in the world; anyone capable of getting a pack of 50 dogs to obey them at once can get a couple of kids to mind....

For the first question, no, I don't think I've learned something on TV and used it for other purposes. For the second part, Yes, I watch the Dog Whisperer sometimes. I think it's amazing what he can do with his dogs. I don't have dogs or children, so I haven't used those techniques, but I guess I could try them on my siblings. It's hard to get peace and quiet around here. I know you're right about the stern "Shh" sound and how effective it can be because my mother uses that on me all the time. Works like a charm. It always gets me to shut up.

HI. I watched the dog whisper, and i think he is great with dogs. I watch when he goes to the different houses with differnt kind of dogs, and the problems the owners are having with there dogs. It very interesting to watch. I think one can learn from Cesar Milan.

The man is truly amazing. He also has another show on CBS called Ghost Whisperer. Only he plays a woman on the show. He looks exactly like Jennifer Love Hewitt. He's a helluva actor!

I loved his show. He did a good job of explaining everything I was doing with the wolves to my wife. I just couldn't explain the process properly ( that & she just didn't believe me ).

What channel is that on? We are getting a dish network installed tomorrow and I can't wait to start watching it! But that sounds like something I need to apply to my toddler, she is bad. We do shush her but it isn't a short sound, I will try it later today.
