Old Members, New Names... How Do You Address Them?

I just realised which interest you put this under.

I must have screwed up. I never list any interests and I always do general discussions. Now you've got me going.

I prefer when users use numbers after their username, like you.

I am confused (not unusual, I know) but, I am not even seeing an interest listed.

I have zero interests listed on my profile. I always start discussions in the general category. I simply can't imagine doing something like that

I guess the word I should have used is "category" instead of interest...I hadn't noticed you always started them under "general".

I know where eggs come from so I wash mine before I use them so none of the egg touches the dirty shell.

Starting over is so hard. I've done it several times and I miss smileys and copy and paste so much, I think I'll try hard to be good and keep this profile.

Eggshells are porous and contain residue from the laying process. I don't want to eat that residue. I wash my eggs.

Theres the problem cyn, I don't relate this old new username with that person and I want to make a new nickname and I was just wondering if anyone else thought that an old friends username just doesn't fit them as well as the original.

I'm having trouble with one particular member here. I met her very soon after I joined and have kept in touch even when she wasn't here. Now shes back and her username just doesn't fit the person I see her to be. So I just thought I'd ask others what they do. I'm leaning toward calling her my own made up nickname.

I never got it Donna. I was looking too.

My computer was having health problems and passed away, so I had to wait for a proper time of mourning until I could get back to the fun and hilarity of Mylot.. Or until I got it fixed and could get back on.. It is a serious situation when you can't get to the net, I had to attend meeting for the week that the puter wasn't working, you know, like AA meetings, it was horrible and so sad.. We went to the library to do some reading one day and I couldn't keep my eyes off the computers but I knew that they wouldn't let me spend the day Mylotting on one of their computers, so I just sat and gazed at it longingly.. I really don't do very well without my computer or the Internet.. Now, how the heck are you doing???

Some people have certain styles when they write and its sometimes easy to recognize.

Other times I just get a friend request and then find out that its an old friend thats come back.
I usually just use the new name, but with this certain user that prompted this discussion, it just doesn't fit for some reason and I was just going to make up a name that fit for me.

Then I thought why just do that when i could start a discussion and ask others if they felt the same way.

I was watching "How Its Made" or a show like that and the standards at production facilities lack thoroughness.

My Aunt had a farm back in Minnesota and I got first hand experience with the washing of eggs. It never bothered me until a short time ago.

I rewash eggs all the time now. Many eggs are recycled back into the cardboard containers and the bacteria remains thus contaminating the shells of the eggs that are put in there.

I was watching a show that dealt with eggs. Yes, they are washed, but so many eggs break causing unsanitary conditions and the response of the employees is lacking.
Old and new eggs are mixed in cartons that contain bacteria and theres no real standard enforced.

I wash my eggs and remove them from the carton after I have.
