Then there are the oes who give sob stories..One time i had put on jeans that had belonged to my son. Never worn & priced at around £4o each. A lady contacted me & said could she have them for her brother as he had just split from his wife & had nothing.When she came to my door & repeated the same thing.I am like wow..no need fur ..fell sorry fur stories..she was getting the stuff anyway haha
Anyway these items i am giving away now except the car stereo..goodness knows where that came from i aint ever had a renault LOL ..sorry where was i..oh yeh they were my sons,mibby i should ask him who is to get them

There seems to be a lot of different rules that each chapter sets up for themselves. The one I was in down south stipulated that you couldn't ask for stuff to resell although I'm sure some people did. Most of the time when someone offered something there in a box lot they would stipulate that you should freecycle anything you didn't want.

Both there and here they have a no sob story rule. Maybe your chapter needs that one.

Yeh well i have had about 20 more emails about the items Donna.So i have left it till
monday,cant be doing with reading it all.One person said they wanted everything & if i ever have anymore items they will take them too.

I sell junk, but good junk.. I sell a lot of higher priced perfumes and purses, but even with the economy as it is now, the purses sell very well.. I sell anything that I can get my hands on but it has to be good quality items.. I refurbish, re-do and rescue many items to make them like new and to get a better resell value.. I love doing it but it is so slow now with everyone having money problems.. It isn't near as much fun as it used to be but it is still a great way to make an extra dollar or two and it keeps me and my husband from killing each other after being cooped up together all the time..

People will try and cheat you but, you have done your good deed for the day and it really doesn't matter what they do with it, you have done your good deed..

Yeh i had a few give phone numbers,asking me if i would text them & keep items till they were next over my way..eh NO..i ignored them,one less to deal with.
Thats a a good idea about the computers littleone.
I think i will wait till Monday then decide who gets the items.
