Michael Steel Heads The Republican Party Great News-Great Day For American

He is a very good man that loves our country,If Michale Steel and Gov Sarah Palin choose to run togeather on one ticket they both have my full support and my vote and the vote of all in my family with out question.

If Michael Steel runs with someone else he would be my first black candidate vote and with great pride I would vote for this outstanding American.

I'm a independent my vote is to no one party,my vote is for what is best for my country, race or gender has never and never will play any part in regard to my vote because that is a very unwise vote.

I wish Michale Steel the very best and I'm so very thrilled he has been elected to lead the republican party.

I love Sarah Pallin. I would love to see her run in the next election. Since so many people voted for Obama because of his skin color, if they want to be honest, maybe they would vote for Michael. If he is a good guy, I don't care why they vote for him as long as they do. Maybe they will have enough of Obama to switch over. I never voted against Obama because of his skin color. It was his values. I would gladly vote for a black man with integrity and good values.

Michale Steel is an honorable man,he is a true American that dose love his country and wants the very best for our country,he will energize the republican party same as Gov Sarah Palin,I would love to see a Steel/Palin ticket,if he has just wrote to skinny book's people could not say he has no expericans to run for president of the United States.

I'm not either republican or democrat and I never vote for candidates that do not represent my standards of morals and true family values so I would first steady Michale Steels moral and family value standards and if he passes that test I woud vote for him.

I'm very thrilled they have elected a decent black man that has self respect and dignity, cares about his fellowman and our country,it is a good day.

Are you referring to that same racism that the Democrats show to every black republican? Are you referring to the way democrats have repeatedly called J.C. Watts, Colin Powell, Condoleeza Rice, Michael Steele and many other uncle Toms, and house "n****"?

Democrats want the monopoly on African Americans as though they are a commodity. As soon as James T. Harris appeared at a McCain rally he was ripped into with every racial slur in the book. His website was mauled by democrats who posted racial slurs all over it.

Michale Steel is a man that I can first of all respect,I can trust if the American people ask him to produce his vault birth certificate he would not think for a minute and would very proudly summit his birth certificate to the American people.

Michale Steel is a respectful American there would not be a picture such as there is of vice president Joe Biden saluting the leaving presidents plane on January 20,2009 and Barack Obama standing with both his hands at his side,he is a most dishonorable man that has no respect from me because he dose not deserve a pennies worth of respect period.

Half the American people voted against Barack Obama and his lack of morals and values and his habit of paling around with corrupted people such as Tony Rezko,William Ayers and Rod Blogjvich just to mention three of the top of my head.

Micheal Steel I have listen to for a very long time,as well he is host on Fox news for Bill 'O and Sean Hennity,my husbands brother and his wife live in Maryland,my sister in law was born in Maryland,My sister in laws parents have live in Maryland most all their life's,her father is the owner of Olympic swimming pools,they are very strong life long republicans,they are all of the white race,and they are pleased to see this upstanding black man being voted to lead of the Republican party.

I do not know Micheal Steel personally,but I do believe him to be a upright black man that is a polite man,he dose not ever appear or sound arrogant,he don't seem to have thug's in his background far as I have known,I have never heard him say you know that I'm black,never have heard even come close to playing a race card,I see him as a fair man,he don't always agree with Geogre W.Bush but he voices his opinion with respect towards are now formenr president and I can respect that very much.

Michael Steel is a moderate which I like as an Independent and if he ever runs for president I would vote for him.

I'm just personally very thrilled to see Micheal Steel elected head of the republican party it is very refreshing an in my opinion a very good pick to lead the party.

It appear Michale Steel may be headed to be trashed like Gov Sarah Palin was right out the gate,sad to see the election of Barack Obama actually changed nothing and even has made it much more worse all the hate and racism,to me seems this country is being taken backwards if anything.

I hope by electing a bi-racial man this will not ruin it for a black man running for president of the United States if one should run in 2012 and so forth.

I have never lived in a racial problem part of the country in all of my life,even as a child in Sacramento,Ca me and my sister the only two white kid's in 30 city blocks each way you could looked, every one loved and cared about everyone,just never had any kind of racial problems and never have had matter a fact,Oh except until I became a blogger at this site now I'm often call a racist because I have no respect for Barack Obama or any of his liberal values that I can possible think of.

If a good black man such as Michale Steel ever run for president I would be most proud to vote for our very first black president in our history.

In politics much can come up so I will leave that open but at this time Michale Steel would have my vote for president of the united States.

I too am very fond of Michael Steele. While I do not always agree with him, his convictions are unwavering. His values are set in stone. And, he has the wisdom and sense of balance necessary to seek 'common ground' in the moment, without sacrificing his commitment to his values. That is a rare trait -- one that has been absent from our national political scene for quite some time.

His strong understanding of economics, Wall Street (with all it's warts) business, law, and the more muddled realities of Human interraction uniquely qualify him toward leadership. His years in the seminary have forged within him a sense of calm, and a genuine respect for his fellow man. In fact, he rather reminds me of a couple of the more influencial Priests/Brothers that I have known over the years. Yes, that is exactly who Michael Steele reminds me of -- the Christian Brothers of either the Dominican or Augustinian order.

If his core remains unchanged as he enters into this new chapter of public life, and he chooses a future run for the Office of the Presidency, I would have no reservation about placing my support squarely in his corner. I don't give a hoot what his racial heritage is, he is a placid yet dynamic leader -- one who I believe people could really place their trust in. There is a sense of maturity there, like that found among those who embrace humility, and sincerely value their fellow man enough to accept Human frailty while still seeking the 'pursuit of excellence'.

As for he & Sarah Palin ever running on a single ticket: I wouldn't expect that to happen. They are very different personalities, with very different drives and levels of commitment to ideology. I could absolutely be wrong, though I'll admit that I would be very surprised if these two ever run together. I can see both playing well on the same team, while focusing their efforts in very different ways. As I see it, Sarah Palin is a boxer while Michael Steele is a fencer -- two sports that I both respect and appreciate. To be successful in either sport requires a sincere commitment to excellence, though the sports themselves are as different as night and day. Imagine a boxer and a fencer in the same ring -- difficult to envision, isn't it?

He was on one of the "unlikely" lists for possible VP candidates. The same lists that had Palin actually. While he may have given a good boost, many would have said it was insulting to black people and an obvious attempt to pander to them the same way they said choosing Palin was insulting to women. Politically Maryland is too liberal a state for him to help McCain win and I don't think he would have excited people quite as much as Palin.

I have heard that he was considered but when he lost the governor's race there, they didn't bother with him again. I see he isn't out of the game altogether because now they need him. I tell you what you said there had me scratching my head. I still feel that there are some great folks in the GOP camp and it was like they overlooked them for this woman. I am like what??
