Did you know there was an attempt on the Queen's life

well, as a citizen uf the United States, we were the first to revolt.

I didn't know that. Probably because I still wasn't born yet or anything. I live in Canada, which is still under the British Commonwealth.

Interesting story, although now I think all interest in the royal family is gone since the passing of Princess Diana.

I had no idea that an attempt had been made on the Queen's life. Wow. I do not recall it being in the news or hearing my parents talk about it. I like to watch her on TV.

I honestly never knew that there was an attempt on the Queen's life, either times. I don't know much about the Queen of England. My country was under British rule at one point in time, and we fought the British to get our freedom. My country is a democracy now, which isn't bad, just wish we had things that other countries have like Universal Health Care for one. I have read that a lot of people in England wants to do away with the Royal family. Saying they are tired of having to pay for their debts and things, but like I said. I read it somewhere, so it doesn't mean that it's true.

No I did not know that. But in my defense 38 years ago I was only 5 years old. I live in the United States so actually I don't know how to answer that question. They certainly tried to rule us, and in some ways they did, but we quickly fought for our indpendence and got out from under them.

Nope didnt know that but I did watch the corantion on the TV back in the 50s.
ANd yup at one time we were and thats why we celebrate the 4th of July our independance Day!

Well kind of old news now don't you think? LOL I am really surprised that I had never remember hearing anything about that though. That would have been big news I would have thought. As for british rule, we go way back to the revolution last time we were ever under the british. Although things are changing every day. Never say never I always say.
