what I do for my children

My going on 16 daughter was having a slumber party with her friends one night, so the day before it she came to me and asked "Hey Mom, will you do somthing for me?" Apparently she was going to have some fun with her friends at her slumber party. For some reason, they play that vacuum dare game where they see who can vacuum up the most senimental, most items. She wanted me to come into the bed room unexpected and vacuum up all her friends things! She said "They would get a laugh out of it!". So I decided that I would do it. So the night of the slumber party, I waited out side her door with the vacuum and saw what the kids brought. She had told them to bring the most sentimental things they could, and the most things they could! Once girl had brought her bag full of stuffed animals. Another girl had brought barbie doll collection. One of her other friends brought all of her socks which she had lots of. "I have a surprise for you!" my daughter said. "Mom! bring it in!" So I went inside the room. They all had a look of shock and anticipation! So I turned the vacuum on, and gave it a whirl! The first thing to go was the socks, then the stuffed animals, then the barbie dolls. That's not all that they brought. They had brought other things too. Panties, bras, shirts, and pants. I'm pretty sure I saw a couple mp3 players in there too. I decided to have a little fun with this, knowing my daughter thought that that was all I was going to do. "Hunny" I said. "What Mom?" she said with a grin. "Open up your clothe draws". I emptied out her clothes draws faster than you can imagine. I had just done laundry too, so all the clothes that she had were in those draws. Her jaw dropped. Her friends started laughing. I procedded to her stuffed animals "No Mom! Not the stuffed animals!" she said with enthusiam. She wasn't upset, she was actualy excited. I vacuumed them up one by one! My daughter was grinning with anticipation. My daughter ran up to me with her mp3 player "Here Mom!" I vacuumed it up. She giggled with excitment. I vacuumed up so much that time, that I had to change the bag 4 times! The girls said "We need to have your Mom do this more often!"
