| 2. tentwo67 (2451) | 11 months ago |  That's cool. My brother used to work for Disney World and he told us about hidden Mickeys all over the place, which I find fascinating. Another thing that was interesting to me is that he told us about how the cast members are coached to talk about things, like for example if someone asked him how many different people play Mickey Mouse at the park, his answer was to be "There's only one Micky Mouse."
I think that the trash systems at Disney are cool too. I believe that the trashcans all empty from underneath so that you never see someone changing out trashbags, but you also never see an overflowing trashcan. That's pretty neat.
And, the way they monitor the weather and bring out the raingear in all of the gift shops when it's going to rain is freaky, and I'm sure it's very profitable for them.

I asked one lady that worked in the bathrooms how many times she had to clean it she said they are cleaned every 15 minutes. That just sounds crazy. They don't monitor them, but if they're caught with illegal drugs or with alcohol if they're under 21, then they are fired. There are, I think, about 3,000 college interns that work at the WDW parks.
I don't think that there's actually apartments for their normal employees.
