Obama Serves Wagyu Steak Dinner In Whitehouse, Cost Of Steak $125.00 Per Pound  

This steak dinner the American tax payers paid for, these steaks cost $125.00 dollars per pound,if your not a tax payer then you have nothing in it and would not even care,the hard working American tax payers do happen to care.

The Obama's have two private chiefs in the white house cooking for them,another tab for the American tax payers to pay.

I am an American tax payer and the reason why there is 2 chefs is because one of them belonged to Bush. The other was one that Obama could already afford before he came into office.

This was not an official dinner, the cost of the meal came out of Obama's pocket. He get's paid $400,000 a year, that is the presidents income. He can afford to celebrate with expensive food.

If Obama wants to redistribute wealth he should lead by example and start giving out some of his cash (obviously he has plenty) instead of taking it from us.

We took possession of the building our business is in on Jan. 2, have done extensive remodeling and stocked it with inventory...all with cash, not a dime in loans. Spalladino, nice shot at Gov. Palin, but you're wrong. When she became the governor of Alaska she got rid of the chef, she and her family cook for themselves.

I used that argument so many times when people claimed that McCain was "out of touch" with regular Americans. Almost all these politicians are freaking millionaires. Sarah Palin was actually the least rich among the two party's nominees. She's the only one who wasn't officially a millionaire although she wasn't far off.

The fact is that none of them are really in touch with working class people because they aren't working class and they don't earn a working class wage. Some of them have NEVER been working class. When Joe Biden was my age he was already a US senator. He literally had 3 years of life working a real job after finishing school.

As for the food, nobody's expecting Obama to eat Ramen Noodles every day. We just expect him to TRY to understand what the rest of the country is going through. He told us to turn down our heaters and keep them below 72, yet he keeps the White House heated like a sauna. You can buy excellent steaks for anywhere from $15 to $50 and be more than satisfied yet he chose to embellish by buying the most overpriced steaks imaginable. I spend less on groceries than he spent on ONE of those steaks and steak is among the groceries I buy.

How am I wrong, Ted? Rose once again tried to paint a picture of the President as someone who is unable to relate to working Americans because he has money. My point was that, if having money makes you unable to relate to those who don't, then John McCain and Sarah Palin are also unable to relate because both of them have money as well. It had nothing to do with the money saving steps she took while in office but with her...and McCain's...personal wealth, which is something Rose is always harping about when it comes to Obama.

The Obama's gave a "very embarrassing amount of money to charity" last year and their income was 400 million dollars last year.

Gov Sarah Palin hunts for the family's meat supply, she cooks moose stew which actually the best and cleanest meat a person can eat,I use to live in Alaska and know first hand moose meat is out of sight,just can not comparing hormone free moose to the hormone infected sick meat city people buy in super markets.

I see, Rose, there are some *special* wealthy people who can relate to the common folk but everyone else is unable to...gotcha...you betcha! You're always good for a laugh!

I saw the post trying to bring McCain and Palin into it and wondered what in the world that had to do with anything...

Sometimes I think I'm going overboard, but then others say the same things I've been thinking. Obama has a big ego, that's for sure and I don't think he minds stepping on people to get his way. I heard about his half brother and wondered then if he just didn't care.

It had to do with Rose's contention that, because Obama has money, he has no concept of what life is like for those who don't. My point was that if that's true for him, it's true for McCain and Palin, too, as they both have wealth. John and Cindy throw money at various charities so, according to Rose, that equals being "in touch". I say BS...funding charities and going to photo ops is far from lifting a finger and trying to help and does not make them more "in touch" than those who actually get involved. Apparently it's okay to overlook all of the work Obama did in Chicago when it's convenient for some to do so. Had McCain won the election and hosted the exact same dinner, not a peep would have been heard.

I don't care what he dose with his 400 million he made last year,but it would had been nice if he has helped his poor half brother George Obama out so he could eat and have better living conditions then a hut surviving on $1.00 per month and if he has set his aunt from Kenya up removing her from the government hand out's while she lives in illegal Untied States and has been since 2004.

I have never seen any record where either Mr or Mrs Obama have help the poor,I have seen their record screwing tax payer's out of their money,an example when Mrs Obama worked at a Chicgo hospital making $100,000 per year which is a very handsome salary,Mr Barack Obama as a United States Senator got the hospital where his wife worked a handsome tax payers grant, soon as the hospital got the grant Mrs Obama's yearly income when to $200,000 a year,a $100,000 per year salary increase,hows that for a little pay to play in Chicago, this is on their read the record.

I agree. He never really does anything to financially help his poor family or others who are poor. Yet, the poor are so impressed with him. And read about that nice raise she received after her husband did his thing. Yet, they never replaced Michelle when she left the hospital...so I don't that she did much in her position.
