You can stand under my...umbrella!  

My umbrella is large with alternating green and white sections and the name of my old school on it. It was made for the tercentenary celebrations in 2002 and has the school emblem of a saffron crocus in purple.

It looks set tae be a braw day today so I shannae tak ma gamp wi' me.

The sun is out in Devon too with no call to use a brolly unlike yesterday. For years I haven't had an umbrella because having kids you are either pushin a buggy or holding hands and you can't do that and hold a brolly at the same time, or at least I haven't managed it yet! My dad bought me one for Christmas but I think I have used it only once so far and, like you, couldn't even tell you where it is! I do know that it is red though!

First of all, I just want you to know that I have missed the Scottish spitfire at mylot, enough to ask about you.I was glad to see another friend request. What did you do, go through and delete everyone again? LOL. As for my umbrella, you aren't getting it today, I'm afraid. The desert doesn't get much rain, but today it poured and hailed so much that my son asked me if God was sad about somehing.We walked around the corner to the store and were soaked all the way up past our knees. Then to add injury to insult, a truck drove past us and completely sprayed us with water. Whatever wasn't wet before was now. As for my poor umbrella, it turned inside out.It felt just like I did. I had had enough.

i have not owned a umbrella!!i find it advantageous to be in somebody elses unbrella(kidding).i make to do with a hat and glares((that looks more cool)or a raincoat.

WELCOME BACK LOUD!!! Sure has been quiet around here. Missed you lady!!! Hope you're feeling much better!!! My umbrella??? Funny...I have 3....2-black & 1 hot pink. Why funny you might ask??? Funny because I can't stand umbrellas & never carry one. I have 2 vehicles & keep one in each of them & I keep one in the house...just in case. Not sure in case of what!!! By the time it's raining hard enough for me to want to use one, the storm is so powerful an umbrella won't help!!! Fortunately (or unfortunately) we've not had much rain in the last several years. I've been lucky in hitting the outdoor just as it begins to sprinkle & have managed to miss any downpours.

Mine is the folding kind, solid red and a hand me down from my mother in law. We will need it because the little one has to see the Doc. today and they are calling for thunder storms.

my umbrella is gray and the pole is plastic and hollow. Makes it lightweight and easy to carry around. Yes, I will be using it today. Lot of rain outside. LoL.
