Does anyone Know how to Make Lasagna

Oh my goodness Catilda, I find it so sad that you have never tried lasagna. I am sure you will really love it. No matter which kind you try.

I myself, don't have a recipe for you. But I might suggest that you could buy the kind that comes in a box from Chef Boy Ar Dee. I know that might sound a little bit ridiculous at first, but I love the kind that comes with the noodles and sauce and you just cook up the noodles and then mix it yourself. A lot of Italians would probably not believe me when I say this, but I like that kind better than ANY I have ever tried in my whole life. And believe you me, I have tried a lot of different types.

So, if you just want to try it, you could do that before you go out and buy all of the expensive ingredients. Good luck to you!

Catilda, lasagne is so easy to make! The hardest part is cooking the noodles and if you make pasta often you can do it. It can be pricey to make but just don't put the meat in it and you will save some money. A baisc lasagne only requires noodles, tomato sauce and cheese. Most lasagne has at least two kinds of cheese, Ricotta and a hard Italian cheese. I like to use several cheeses but you could use Parmesian or one of those bags of grated cheese in the store already blended. I also add vegetables to my lasagne.

Boil the noodles according to the package directions. You don't want to over cook them because you will still have to bake them in the oven to make the lasagne. You need a long baking dish like pyrex and you lay the noodles on the bottom and then cover them with sauce and cheese. Then you lay more noodles on top and keep the layers going til the dish is just about full. Put more sauce then cheese on top and stick it in the oven.

The baking time may be a little different for you because of altitude but it shouldn't take more than 30 minutes or so. There are plenty of recipes available online.
