I was motivated by so many discussions asking questions about 'how?'.
I tried tofind a common denominator to everything her and my conclusions are there.
By helping other users we are helping ourselvse and then we will allbe having fun, learning and earning.
I was new once just like each and every one of us and needed guidance. It took time and mistakes to see how to get the best out of it all round. Why not pass on what I've learnt

I hope those tips can help others find their 'slot' here and it is especially aimed at the newer users. They arrive thinking about earning without realising that once they put that aside, they will end up earning more I see many having difficulty 'staying afloat' and if we alllend a hand it benefits everyone!

You have summed it up exactly! The less we actually think about earning the more we earn all round. I really do have the new users at heart with those tips. I often wonder when they see some users with high user rarings on here if they get put off and give up. I don't want that to happen to any of 'em, not one! There have been alot recently and some are a breath of fresh air and I had fun helping those that just needed a 'push' to reach their first goal and off they go!

What an impressive alphabet Diana did today for us , it's true it's all about friendship and help each other and you will receive help too in the long run.

I guess for the Q there are several options to fill it up.

Another would have been Quality inside of our discussion/responses/comments and especially let the new users know what it means, being helpful within your response and give useful information.

From this they would have a much more easier "life" in myLot because afterward other members will join their discussions as well. As we have seen they contribute very positively to our discussions.
And on the other side they see their earnings grow (which is sometimes an important factor for them in the beginning).

One of my reasons to have so many friends here is that i don't have to look in each topic but can choose the most interesting discussions from my "friends started" but it's all up to us how we manage this friends list

Yes of course quality is important but I feel that new users would have much more fun if they just join in more. If they make friends and respond here and there and don't feel they are 'at school' I'm sure they might get more out of it and earn more too without so much effort. Some are trying too hard and that spoils it.
Last week I 'met' quite a few new users here and just jogged them along, going back and forth with them and they didn't even realise they were 'working' towards their first milestone and first star. They have now spread their wings and have realised that fun pays off more than preparing an essay when you're new
I hope to get that across to many more of them as there are soooo many reently!

A preacher? Oh gosh! If only my essays at school had come out with the same results
I certainly hope that passing on some of what I have learnt here willhelp some of the newer users. I am all for helping those that need a hand and if only they can realise that having fun and forgetting about earning will make them earn more,then they are more than half way there!

As an experienced and senior mylotter you should share what you know to the newcomers. Without proper guidance they will not find the place fun and will leave as fast as they came in. You have indeed came up with good ideas that gives newbies ideas what to expect to be a mylot citizen.

I hope all of us together can give them a 'push' until they feel the swing of things. It seems once they get to a certain milestone they struggle.
Teamwork and we'll get them all Lotting on here - and there might just be a bit more fun with new ideas too

Savak you exagerate! I started by writing down the letters of the alphabet and tried to follow a theme which I hope will hep others, especially the new ones.
You are absolutely definately much morelikely to earn from writing than I would be as sadly since I moved here toItaly I don't get the chance touse Englsh very often and my vocabulary has become scarse. I understand all the words but I don't remember them any more when writing I try to make things easy and fun where possible and I hope it comes across as such for those who will stop by and read it

Oh you succeeded admirably, and such good advice, too. Maybe if enough people read it and take it to heart some of the shenanigans that have been going on here will stop.

I don't start that many either. I especially don't start them if I know I will not be able to respond as it doesn't seem fair. I respond all over the place and not always in my interests. I respond to users with high user ratings or new users indifferently too. If some is interesting I 'land' on it
The more fun it is the more friends I seem to make and then voilà I'm earning too without even realising! I hope that can helpmany newer users If we all give 'em a hand we will have so much to do that we just won't know what hit us!
