HI all!
Have you heard of PCOS or polycystic ovarian syndrome?
To cure my PCOS, my OB gynecologist prescribed oral fertility drugs, which made me anxious and feel so many uncomfortable symptoms. After two cycles I stopped of taking Clomid (clomiphene citate). She recommended injectables and if nothing happened, the next step would be artificial insemination. The two other options were definitely out for me, as I would never consider them. I figured that if God blesses us with our own child, then so be it. I would not do anything as drastic anymore as having injections and getting AI.
Well, I did do other things, like massage therapy, touch therapy, take fertility vitamins, have vegetable supplements that are supposed to boost my female hormones, and a host of other things. Well meaning family and friends also recommended different methods and remedies and amulets, etc.
How about you? Have you had PCOS? HOw did you deal with it?
Take care all and God bless you!
Happy mylotting! :D

I don't have PCOS. But i do suffer from dysplasia and possibly endometriosis. I suffer from alot of pain but mainly during my menstrual cycle. Last time they did an ultrasound there was a cyst on my left ovary. I get the filling its getting bigger though cause i have been having worse pains on that side. The last time they said it was too small to worry about it. That was about six to eight months ago. As for me possibly having endometriosis. It hasn't been diagnosed but all my sypmtoms that i have suffered with point to it. If i do have it though i am one of the lucky ones because over half of endometriosis suffered are infertile. I am blessed to be able to have kids considering i had one two years ago.
Glad to share my story anytime.

Hello to you! I too have been trying to conceive for 14 months now. By march, my OB recommended that I take Clomid. I've read about the side effects but I think I am willing to try it for two cycles only. What symptoms did you experience with Clomid? I would not go as far as AI too.
Baby dust to us :)
