Peanut Butter Recall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for that list. I agree with you. It is getting harder and harder to trust food now. Because of all of the recalls that they are having.

Since the source of the salmonella in peanut butter products has been found it looks like we're a bit safer...for now. I used to buy those little packages of peanut butter crackers a few times a week on my way to work so now I'm thinking that getting laid off helped to keep me from getting sick.

I really think that we, as a people, need to put pressure on Washington to get the FDA to improve it's performance when it comes to food safety. I don't buy too much processed food but some things, like peanuts and peanut butter, are staples in so many households and should be watched more closely.

They say that food poisoning from peanut butter is the most fatal because of the salmonella in the peanut. And it breaks my heart that there are a lot of products being recalled because some of these products I really like. Guess, the only recourse for us is to go organic with the food that we eat.

Well I for one thank you for letting me know and giving me this link. I am not sure how many of the products on the list are also available in the UK but I will check it out anyway! As far as I know there has not been a peanut butter scare or recalls here. Thanks again snowqueen!

this is neverending! I hate that we have to be so careful what
we buy and eat! I love peanut butter and now I have to be so
scarred to ever eat it again? This is just crazy! I hope that
they get this straightened out soon. And to think that these
people new that this stuff was tainted and sent it through
anyway! How could they do this? They should be tied up and forced
to eat this poison themselves!

Isn't it gross how out of hand this has gotten? I mean, this is a peanut plant in the USA and the FDA has just NOW decided they should be checking out these plants for cleanliness... etc etc. Why do they have to wait until people die and/or get sick before they regulate FOOD processing plants? HELLO???
