If you have a subscription to a magazine and you are not really interested in it. Do you know if you can have it sent to someone who would like it? I ordered a magazine but I dont like it to much do you think I could cancel? Maybe have them change the address so it goes to a friend?

hello moneymommy
if you have a magazine subscription like that that you are not interested in getting any longer, surely you could cancel your subscription or have it sent to a friend. i do not know about them switching an address like that, but i do not know why that a magazine company like that wouldn't want to change a name and an address like that for somebody. looks like that they would rather do that than to loose the magazine subscription altogether if you do decide to cancel it. lol you know? the only magazine that myself and my family recieves through the mail like that is the Reader's Digest and it was a gift from one of my brother-in-laws one year to my hubby.
take care and have a beautiful afternoon.

I think I will give them a call today and see if they will switch the name and address. The subscription is paid for so I dont see why this would be an issue.

I know quite a few people who have had a magazine subscription that they did not want and they had it sent to another person. What's the difference in doing that or if you move? Either way they are changing the address. Plus, it's not like they're out of any pay - because you already paid for the subscription.
Each magazine may be different - but I would suggest calling them to find out for sure.
