Have you ever sat on a roof?  

Hmm, i have seen many movies, tv dramas doing that but nope i have never been on the roof nor i will every try because i am afraid of heights especially when there are no railings to hold on it. haha thats my personal experience. Cya around

I do it sometimes. Good for thinking, and a nice view of the stars. Never with a girl, always by myself, or a friend or two with a beer and some kind of philosophical discussion.

My friends and I used to sit on the roof. It was fun.

Me and a couple of my friends would do this, for fun, at one of their houses. It would really help us cool off - and they used to smoke cigarettes, so it was a good way to conceal it from their parents.

I couldn't do it on my roof, though - my roof is slanted and I would probably not make it all the way up (or fall down trying to climb onto it). lol. :/

yeah when i was younger.. it was not romantic one.. me and my aunt used to go up to the roof to pick mangoes and have picnic hehe

yes,I sat on a roof when I am young,the roof of the houses are not very high and we usually throw things on the roof accidently,it's a good experience when you are on the roof,you could look far and it's just interesting

Yes I have and it wasen't to look at stars with a lover either, I locked my self out of my house and had to climb up on to my conservatory roof which is glass, it was raining hard and I had to get a ladder to climb up to the open window, but when I crawl up to the window I couldn't reach it and my neigbour had to pass the bucket with a broom handle and then I managed to get in,mind I am not a young person but I done.So being on a roof is not so romantic for me.

to answer your question about have i ever sat on a roof top like that before? nope, can't say that i have. lol i have never lived in the proper place that would allow me to sit on my roof. but like you said i have seen different television shows that i have seen people sitting out on their roofs like that, even dining with each other. and i think that that would be awesome to experience that especially if the weather outside was lovely for the evening. and it would be awesome to be up high like that and then to look down at everything on the ground. it would probably be like being in another world.

Actually when my then boyfriend (now he is my husband) and I were dating and lived with my parents at night we would climb out the window and smoke out on the roof. Going all the way downstairs and outside was a pain so we would just open a window and climb out on the roof. We had some really wonderful times out there just the two of us relaxing and having a smoke. I hadent thought about those times for along time but now that it is almost Valentines day and you brought up this discussion it brings back a lot of good memories of when my husband and I were freshly in love. I love the romantic scenes in movies and hadent even thought about if it would seem weird for people to sit around on their roofs. The roof I sat on was slanted so me being scared of heights I don't know how I ever did that but it wasent too terribly high off the ground. I could jump to the ground and I wouldnt have gotten hurt but I never did jump off there.

I have never sat on a roof before.I just watched it in movies or TV.What a view!lol.I would love to try if possible.
