Abstinence |
|
I'm wondering how many other people choose not to until marriage. Rather it be for religious reasons or not. And that doesn't mean you have to be a virgin. Even if you have before but decided not to again until marriage. I'm single now and feel like the main reason is because I will not give a guy what he wants. I know I am probably just picking the wrong guys, but it is still discouraging. I feel that it is hard to find a guy that will accept me and my belief. As soon as they find out they won't get what they want they leave or cheat. Some will even try to stay around and change my mind. Those are the worst! What are everyone's thoughts on this issue? I know not "everyone is doing it". But I wonder just how many aren't. And have you found that special someone that respects your decision to wait?

| 3. trueheart52 (3) | 11 months ago | I have chosen the path of abstinence too. Until after the "I do" and not before. Do stand firm on your conviction, for whoever truly loves you will love you for you and because of love will respect you. Don´t worry about singleness for a few months, the true one will come along. He may be faulty in some other area but true to himself on this one, remember Mr. Perfect does not exist nor Ms. Perfect. Wish you the best!

| 4. SuperJay (32) | 11 months ago | I am a single guy and I choose to remain abstinent also. I don't really look at a relationship as a way to "get some" but instead share my feeling with someone that I will find in my life and love. I know that a relationship about having intercourse won't last at all and I don't really look for that. I just hope that I will find someone that will think the same thing as me, or something similar. There aren't much people that truly think about "doing it" either when they want a relationship, just try to search more and you'll find someone.

| 5. roc080 (30) | 11 months ago | wow that was really lovely to hear that. I too have a similar problem, I m a virgin but the problem is that I want to loose it, but none would give it to me,I won't go to a prostiute because for me beleive it or not its too cheap, I believe that a woman's body is to precious to be sold for anything so I would never go to prostitue, but I still want to lose my virginity, I don't know what to do.
