| Computer memory low  | | | |  Hi can I ask you a help about my computer how can I fixed it. I have my computer the memory is 128mb every time I see the dxdiag or diagnostic tools my memory is 96mb if I add other memory its same 96mb. how can I fixed it?

| |  I'm guessing you don't have a videocard and you're using the mainboard's onboard GPU, which is set at 32mb. That explains why your system only has 96MB at its disposal (96+32=128).

| | If you're adding 256mb in addition to your existing 128mb RAM, make sure they have the same clockspeed. It's probable that your system isn't reading the new memory that's why the result is still 96mb. Make sure the new memory stick is seated properly in its slot. And make sure BIOS recognizes the new memory stick. | | | |

| |  You said your VGA is on-board (set to 32MB from memory base). How many IC (Integration Circuit) in your memory? Every memory have slot and divide by two bank in memory. It defend on your motherboard and BIOS, every motherboard always check first slot in memory. Do you see Dimm in Slot 0/1, when you are start your computer on?
