irrational fears

I suffer problems with anxiety ever so often. Like today for an instance, I got scared and panicky in the morning because I felt a little short of breath. The allergies are really getting to me so I was coughing alot. So when ever I feel a little short of breath I panic! Then I start to hyperventilate and I get so scared that I'm not going to be able to breath. I know this is because of my anxiety problems but I still get these panic attacks and fear.

I'm afraid of spiders and nonclear water. I live on the Black Sea coast and the water here isn't that clear in a lot of days because of the sea weed. I'm afraid to bath in the sea those days. My friends think I'm a freak. I can't explain it, I'm just afraid that's something in the water that can hurt me. Maybe I saw to many horror movies.

I fear a few things, but not too many. I fear bugs for some reason, I cannot touch them, and I do not let them go near me. I will never kill a bug though, they deserve to live as much as I do, unless of course if they were destroying my home, like termites, etc. Then it is something you have to do to save your own self. Other than bugs, I like all other creatures, snakes, rats (I love them), etc. I also fear death, but I do not think that is irrational of me, I think we all for the most part are scared of the mystery of death. Loss also scares me I guess, I do not want to lose something or someone special to me, like my family, boyfriend, my memories, money, etc. I work hard for the things I have. I fear falling from an elevator and getting stuck. I also fear heights. I am afraid to climb up on high places where when I look down there is cars... I can never stay still on a mountain or high hill.. I could never go hiking either. I am afraid of living to close to waters.. I never could do this..

Right of the top of my head i would say for me it is being put/forced into a situation where i am forced,feel the need to SHUTUP.

i to have a balance problem so i can relate. it's the pits. i don't like heights either. never have. the thought of being in an airplane scares me to death. happy valentine's day.

I have so many fears, way too many and some hold me back which is sad. But my biggest fear is of lizards. I can not stand to even look at one on TV or in a book. That lizard in the insurance commercial is not as bad since it is not a real live one.

I have lots of fears. I have fear of heights,deep water, fire, fire crackers.. I also have anxiety.

I have a balance impairment so I know how it feels to be scared to fall down; I have the same experience with it. Spinning around fast like in a merry go round effects your inner ear and your balance aswell, that's why that feels so nasty.

I also fear spiders, but I guess a lot of these fears are old instincts to survive. For example: spiders can be poisonous, and therefor dangerous. By being affraid of them, you have bigger chances of survival. I think there are a lot of 'irrational' fears that were pretty much helpfull and instinct back in the old days.

I am scared to death of bugs that fly. I don't care what kind it is, whether it will bit you or not I am scared of it!! That is the only reason I hate summer time! I also have a fear of dying, but that is not as intense as the bug thing. I think I am so scared of bugs because when I was little I was attacked by a hive of bees. My entire body was covered in stings! Now when I hear a noise that sounds like a bee I freak out!!
