Pepsi or Coke? Diet or Regular?

I live in Atlanta, and we are in Coca-Cola country. It is the preferred soda by most people in my area. However, I have always liked Pepsi better. (Don't get me wrong, I do like Coke, I just like Pepsi better). I think it is because Pepsi has a sweeter taste to me. ANYWAY, when we have parties or family get togethers we buy lots of Coke, and then there is my little lonely two liter of Diet Pepsi. Also, I prefer a diet drink to a regular drink. I started drinking diet soda for the obvious reason - I don't need the calories in the regular soda. So, I like the taste of the diet drinks. But my husband says diet drinks taste awful. What do you think? Pepsi or Coke? Diet Or regular? I am curious to see if I am still the loner.

7up actuallly.
Coca Cola will eat the rust off a nail. IF it is that toxic, imagine what it will do inside your body.
You couldn't force diet pop down my throat if I was dying of thirst. I absolutely hate the aftertaste from the aspartame and I believe that aspartame has been noted to cause cancer.
7up has no colours therefore they can't hide any junk in it.
The public health nurse even told me it has electrolytes, so if you were going to drink pop, the 2 best ones were 7up and ginger ale. I cannot drink ginger ale because I don't like ginger that much, plus it brings back memories of measles, mumps, chicken pox. Whenever I was sick, I was given a steady diet of warm, flat ginger ale. YUCK!

I was told once that a friend of mine (who was in the Navy, I think), worked in the kitchen when he was in the military. He said they used coke to clean the grease off of the stove. He wouldn't drink coke because of that. You have given me something to think about! I may have to switch to 7up. Thanks for your comment!

I have to say that I love them both. I like regular pepsi better than regular coke. But I like diet coke better than diet pepsi called me messed up .. But That is the way I drink my sodas. I do a little of both depending on how I feel that day but I tend to drink a lot of diet dr. pepper... LOL!! But I love diet cherry coke and I love regular pepsi.. Oh boy I'm all mixed up and no where to go.....

I like Pepsi the best. I do not like diet at all. It leaves an awful taste in your mouth.

Coke Classic is the best. The only drink Pepsi has that is good is Mountain Dew.
