Hi to all , afew weeks ago a friend told me that if you eat uncooked spinach it is far healthier than cooked spinach, he said that just use it like it were lettuce , just slice it then add some good olive oil and lemon juice and what ever other salads you like, and i can tell you it's lovely, hey just another small tip i also learnt that we should eat veggies that are in season because the of the theme on sunlight and air that enhances thier natural properties because greenhouse veggies produce less of these, i hope i was usefull to someone, greetings from bignik sardinia italy

I love raw spinach, especially fresh, tender baby spinach. It is great in salads or even instead of lettuce on a sandwich. Spinach is loaded with vitamins and minerals and by eating it raw you are not destroying any of its nutrients. There really isn't much flavour to spinach - especially when raw so I don't understand why some people say how horrible it is.

Raw spinach is great! I use it jus about anywhere that I would use lettuce. I use it in omelettes and in all kinds of salads. One of my favorite meals is to cook some black beans, then put them with some cheese a slice or two of avocado and a few leaves of raw spinach in a wrap of some sort and enjoy! I sometimes add salsa and raw onions.. depending on my mood!

I like raw spinach in spinach salads. I like to put strawberries, pecans, and mandarin oranges in mine and serve it with a poppy seed dressing.

I like to eat baby spinach on a salad. That is about the only spinach I care for at all,but I will eat the canned stuff from time to time.
