Never Give Up Hope

One thing that I have learned over the last 5 months is never give up hope, no matter how bad or how awful the situation is, all you have to do is believe. I experienced one of these situations, this morning I woke up and saw texts messages from my long distance gf. She revealed to me that she has a bf and is now engaged. I was shocked to say the least. I have never been the type of person to give up; at anything. Sports, life, love, anything. Never give up, my friends and people here are going to say this is a stupid idea and I should just let her go and move on, but how can I let the best thing to ever happen to me just walk away without doing anything? Bf or no bf she has been a huge inspiration to me and I cant just let that go without doing anything. It could be the hardest thing in the world to try to do, but you can bet that I will try. I WILL NOT GIVE UP. She loves me, she told her family this, she told her friends this and I asked her friend this morning and she said that she told her she loved me, she truly loved me. I can feel love from her, just from when we talk, the way she looks at me, the way she talks to me. There is hope in every situation no matter how bad it looks, DO NOT STOP BELIEVING just because of one small thing. I cant let it end like this, she means the world to me, I would run to the edge of eternity for her. It may sound stupid to a lot of people on here, but I cant live life knowing that I could have done something more for her, I dont want to look back 5 years from now and think, what if I had only tried and not just sat around and sulked in self pity because of one small thing. I need to do something instead of just letting it happen.
