After you got a "best response" you come back and say thank you who give you?

It's been a long time since I got a best response... as I was idle for some time now... However I don't remember I ever said thanks to the one who gave me a best response... Look, I'm not online every time, so sometime I knew about best response from an email about a week later... I think I'll start to do it as you brought me to it.

I do come back to the discussion or write a private message to the one who gave me a best response award. It's a nice feeling to be receiving one so I'm just thanking him/her for letting me feel that way...

hi i definitely go back to give thanks for choosing best response to my reply in discussions.the best response award gives me confidence and energy to respond to further discussions..

In a majority if cases, yes, I will come back and thank the person for giving me the best response. Not just a thank you either, as I will also make some more comments alongside the thank you. (Thank you's alone are against the guidelines) The only time I don't say thanks is if the person who gave me the best response hasn't replied to my own response at all. Sometimes people award a BR without actually replying to the person!

I do come back and tell them thank you when the select me. I feel that it's only fair when I do. I had one discussion a few months back and one person was selected who was honest with me and I gave her Best Response because she was for real and she thanked me too. That to me, is the very least that I can do.

Well Its realy Good to recive the best respnse from the the discusion.. I fell very happy if a recive the best response.. And i will Always say thanks to the person by messaging him or her.. or By responsing on that discusion..

well, since that person doesn't receive notification unless a new response is posted, sometimes I will and sometimes I won't

Yes I go back to thank the user when I receive a best response. I feel it is polite and a sign of respect and something I would do offline if someone took the time to give me something.
Very, very rarely do I not go back and this is usually when I receive a BR on a very old discussion about a ptc site which has since disappeared. No point in saying thankyou there and reviving a discussion which has since lost all it's purpose. If the user was on my friend list I would thank them through a PM in that case.
