 my mom told me about this suicide song.she said that she heard from someone that after you heard this song,you will kill yourself.she told me to watch and listen to that song in youtube.but im thingking twice if i will listen to it.i feel nervous and scared.then i tried to look in google about whats the story behind that song and hat really happened.in budafest,rezsoe seres,whos the composer and writer of the song gloomy sunday was blamed for touchingoff waveof suicides during the 1930's has ended his own life.seres jumped from his apartment.a few months after the song gloomy sunday was printed,there were a spate of strange occurences that were alledgedly sparked off by the song.in berlin,a young man requested a band to play that song.then after that,the man went home and shot himself with a gun on his head. a week later in the same city,a young female was found hanging from a rope in her flat.police who investigated the suicide found a copy of the song in a sheet in the dead girls bedroom.two days after,a young secretary killed herself.they found a suicide note and in the suicide note,it says that she requested gloomy sunday to be played at her funeral.weeks later,an old man from new yorkjumped from the window of his seventh storey apartment after playing the deadly song on his piano.around the same time,a teenager in rome who have heard of that song jumped off a bridge.in london, an old lady was recording of that song at full volume.frightening her neighbours,who had read of the news about the song.the song finally bacame trapped in a groove and the same piece of the song played over and over.the neighbours hammered on the womans door but there was no answer.so they forced the door open.they found the woman dead in her chair from an overdose of barbiturates.even the ex=fiancee of seress had poisoned herself and beside her was a copy of the song gloomy sunday.well,right now,i really feel nervous.what do you think about this story?do you believe that the song is the really caused of death of these people?

And I have listened it. But there are different version of this song. Lyrics are same but the different singers. I have a lady version of this song, I don't know what is the name of the singer.
Well the lyrics of this song is strong. In the song the writer says that he wants to suicide because his love has been taken away by the angels. He has given the strong feeling towards the suicide with no more interest to live in this world without his love.
The lyrics is strong and I have listened to song also, but I am still alive haha. But the thought of suicide did never come to me, because to commit suicide means that you are too pessimistic. I too have tragedy in life regarding love too. But the feeling of suicide never come to me.
Now I will search for the original version of this song, if there is in youtube. I had never thought of searching in youtube. But now I will do it.
Nice post. Listen to the song, but not be that serious.

It just happened that the song was so well written that people who were already depressed took the song to their predicament and so did what it suggested. It only contributed to their pain. However, I think the song should be carefully regulated because they make people sick and lose their mind especially those who are emotionally weak and troubled. I want to listen to that song and find out for myself the art with which it was written and composed. The moment you read this I'm there in youtube.
