Pass on the blessings....  |

|  On Sunday we decided to take our kids out to eat, and after trying to decide where to eat our youngest son said let's go to Applebees. I had taken them there once during the month of January while waiting to register for class at the college. Sometimes it's really hard to be able to dine out with five kids ranging from 4-10 years old. When we got there we quickly were put in a booth with a chair at the end. We were there no more than 20 minutes when a man came up to our table and gave us a $5 gift card. I didn't know what it was until I saw it was this gift card. I felt so blessed that someone would just walk up to a stranger to bless them. When we left we gave the server a $5.00 tip. She was so nice to us, treated our kids really good and didn't question if we wanted to share some of our dishes. I thought God had blessed us so it was only fair to pass on some of the blessings. That was so sweet of that man. It is nice to know there are caring people out there in
the world. And how nice of you to give your server a $5 tip as well. I know that
times are hard these days. You were blessed yesterday. I have passed on a blessing
before. It feels really good to do.

| | I wanted to go tell the man and his wife that I hope God blesses them back for their kindness. I felt a little embarassed because having so many kids we often get stares. I know that day was a nice day because we went to church, got our computers fixed, and to go out to dinner together was nice because we don't do it often. Yes times are hard that is why it was extra nice that they had given us this gift. | | | |

| |  I love to pass on a blessing. When I was blessed with a car, I loved to give people rides that did not have a car. Many of the kids at school who had to walk home, could catch a ride home in our car since I had to pick my daughter up from school anyway.
God blessed me with a typewriter when I was single. The church asked for someone to volunteer to be a bowling secretary for the church bowling league. I did not know anything about bowling but I still volunteered (thought I would get some instructions). I did my best to do a good job of it. In the meantime, I met my husband while doing this.
I have been blessed to have a computer. In turn there were some senior citizens that wanted someone to type up their memories. I not only was able to type up those memories but also add artwork and put together a beautiful book for them. I have helped people type resumes, put together family stories for the children in the family, and type up a bible study lesson in large print for a lady in our bible study group that had a hard time seeing.
It seems that almost everything I have been given, I can share with others. That is such a good feeling.
