My flowers lasted two weeks already!  

BOOK PRESS them.

One Book and open it some brown paper and place flower on it cover with brown paper (could use A$ white paper).

Close BOOK and put in a out of the way place with a heavy weight on it (use of House bricks is good) and leave and forget.

Some day in the next few years you might like to have a look at your PRESSED FLOWERS.

There we go you have them forever.

Wow, that's good that you're flower is still alive until this time...I thought mine will last long also but when I got home last weekend from volunteer job, hubby kept it already..He collected the petals and place it inside the book!

Hi, Oreo, I got a carnation for Valentine's Day and it is still looking pretty good. I don't have any of that plant food for mine, but I am sure it had some when it started out at the florist's.

When I was very young, I used to think that I would have fresh flowers in my home at all times. That dream has not become a reality, but I enjoy them when I can get them. I do bring in my roses from my white bush in the summer. They don't last long. Petals start to fall off pretty quickly.

You must have given much care for the flowers. They are kept still pretty well enought to make into preserved ones. As i once saw on site, people put them in refrigerators for a while, take out and dry them, then spray with certain kind of hair spray. They can last for ever.

I have never done it, better you check online, and have a try. Good luck.

I have never been able to keep cut flowers alive. I would use all the tricks I had ever read about or heard of but no matter how hard I tried I couldn't keep cut flowers fresh longer than two or three days.

That is nice to have them live so long. Alot of times they don't come with food or directions for their care. I haven't gotten real flowers in about 11 years. But I do love flowers and have them outside what I can keep my brothers in laws chickens from digging up. Well here is a few tips I dug up myself..about preserving roses hope that they are helpful.

You could press them, or, as they start to finally wilt gather the bunch together, wrap an elastic around the stems and hang them upside down. They will 'dry' and may turn color a bit, but within a few days, you will be able to spray the bunch with hairspray and put them in a vase (right side up! lol) and keep them forever!

This is amazing that your flowers can last so long time. As usually roses will fade for about a week. There is a flower called forget-me-not, I think this kind of flower can last forever. As they are almost like the dry flowers.

awwww how sweet that you got some flowers. I have had them last awhile to from changing the water daily and feeding them. I love flowers.

wow that is great, have you used a aspirin in the water it gives them additional life when they start to wilt.
