What have you lost?

I have not received back what I lost. But I have returned a bag containing Car Papaers and plot original documents including link documents. The plot was registered when there was no photos obtained by Registration office. It means I can sell that plot to any body saying I am the owner. I have sincerely called him on phone with certain identity and handed over it. I felt very satisfied by this action.

Hi Paula, Years ago I found a purse on the pavement and handed it in and then a few years ago I lost mine because I left it on the side of a boat on dry dock though whilst I used both hands to lift something and forgot to pick purse back up. I had a call a little while later from the police saying that it had been handed in and all the cash and cards were all still there so yes Karma again eh! It is refreshing to know that the majority of people are very honest, it is only the odd few I believe that would grab for themselves. Huggles. Ellie:D

The same thing happened to me. I left mine on top of my car after my dogs visit to the vets. I had a phone call, and picked up my wallet, less the money that was inside. The lady who returned it siad she found it miles away from the vets, and there was no m,aney. Fortunately personal items, and credit cards were intact.

i had lost lots of things & frankly nothing has come back to me as such you mentioned, i am still awaiting things to happen like this.

you know, at times its difficlut to get honest peoples like this who thinks that they should return these types of lost things & inturn they put their own money & efforts just to ensure that it should reach to his owner.

You are correct in your assessment that honesty had not died yet though has fallen drastically. That honest people are there that the life is still bearable or else it would withered long back. this why people with wisdom say "trust others you will be trusted".

We are responsible for the fall of the innocence as we have shown least concert to uplift this virtue. I feel time is not yet over and we can really change things in our favour.

Yes, I had such an incident like this! About a year back, my son lost his instrument set used for his engineering drawing classes, while returning from college in an auto-rickshaw from the bus-stop. Also he had forgot to recall this at home! The next day morning, the driver of the auto-rickshaw, who had kept that item in his custody, informed us at home by guess, through a person with his vehicle number and place of parking. I had to go to the parking place of that auto-rickshaw, about six kms from my residence and search for that auto-rickshaw driver by the given number. After sometime, the driver from his cyclic duty returned and brought the instrument from his residence.
Thank God and the Driver!!
This is a burning example of honesty that is ever the best among all policies!

but on a serious note many years knowing my mom during my teen years due to her death at a young age. I know thoe in heart and spirit she hasnt missed a moment of my life.

Nope, I don't really believe I have ever in my life. If I lose it coz of me or that it was stolen from me, it's bye bye and it's a necessity then I gotta get another one ASAP.

All i can do now is still hope for the better but I have heard such stories indeed and I am still happy that there are a few that believes in kindness and honesty though my wallet has not been returned at all. hehehe!! I just kept on thinking that maybe that other person who was lucky enough to pick up my wallet needed the money badly more than me.

I dont think I have ever lost something that came back to me. I have lost my wallet several times as well as my phone but nothing ever came back to me. sad, I know. but I also know that there are still a lot of honest people out there. and I have hope for the rest of humanity that when it comes down to it, they'll still do the right thing.
