Let's hope she hadn't contributed to the gene pool. She probably had though. Most people have kids. I would love to leave my genes behind, but I can't, so I have fur kids. They don't breed either.

In the movie Fried Green Tomatoes Buddy got his shoe caught in the tracks and got hit by a train. Bye bye Buddy.

They didn't say if she was drunk. I'm sure they did a blood analysis to find out. The cops always want to know if people are drunk when they do stupid things.

Who knows. She wasn't to bright. A train being close enough to hit her is easy to spot.

Teens do crazy things on dares. They don't have the adult brains to tell them that such and such is hecka dangerous. I can understand a teen taking risks, but an adult? She was just plain stupid. And that stupid killed her.

They said that she went under the arm. Someone must have seen it. I couldn't even imagine having to witness such a horrid thing.

I remember that movie. It was made here where I live. It's a pretty good "coming of age movie."

It was, wasn't it? Did you see any of the filming or the stars?

No I didn't. In the past I've always made sure to stay away from wherever they were filming movies. To me they were just in my way and I don't have a particular desire to meet any stars. I don't know them, don't have anything to say to them so there was no point.

Now however since they've started putting all those special features on DVD where they show parts of the film making process I'm a lot more interested in it. I always watch those and listen to the commentary on the movies. Why do this, how did they do that etc.

Since I've learned a whole lot more about movie making now I think it would be kinda fun just to go and watch them for a bit at work. Not just the actors but everyone else as well. They just need to bring another film here!

If I were young and starting over I think I'd love a career working with films. My ideal jobs would be finding the locations, the towns, the houses etc to set them in OR dressing up the sets...finding the right furniture, cars etc. It would be like a really cool scavenger hunt and I'd get paid for it!

Working on set is a lot of "Hurry up and wait".

I never stop on a train track. Or I should say, when I drove I never did that. I have always been cautious. I value my life and want to make it to 120.

Obvious she thought she could make it. But why she would take a chance when a train was coming? It is just plain poor judgment. And now because of it she is dead.

I'm sure her family will miss her.

It's a newsworthy story because she disregards the law and didn't use common sense and consequently she is dead.

The crossing arms come down for a reason. Same with the bells and flashing lights. A train is coming and people are expected to wait a few minutes for it to go by. Only an idiot would ignore all three warnings and try to make it across to save a few minutes.

Now the train driver has to live with the knowledge that he killed someone. Even if he couldn't help it, it must still give him nightmares. Also all the people who witnessed it, must be in total shock to see such a thing.

If she had just used common sense she would still be alive.

Some people are stupid. Actually a lot of people are stupid. Most stupid people have enough sense not to play chicken with a train. I used to work with retarded women and they knew how to wait and obey the lights at intersections. We didn't have trains in my area, but it's the same concept. This woman wasn't retarded, she was just plain stupid. Stupid killed her.
