What is the one thing that will make you speak up?  | |  For me it is honesty. Because all things are founded upon this in my mind. If you are honest, you will not lie, if you do not lie you treat others fairly, if you treat others fairly you respect life, etc.

It can be something small like taking cuts in a line to hurting others either physically or emotionally. It is hard because I also fall short in that area. Before I realize it, I have done something to hurt someone even though I did not start out to do that. It sure is hard being human sometimes.

There are basic principles of human decency that trancend all faiths, cultures, and so forth that we can all uphold. I take those very seriously and do my best to always uphold them.

When someone does something hurtful to someone I love . If you mess with those I love, I can become a totally different person. Judging people for the way they look or because they are different also gets me to speak up .
Crazy drivers also irk me! Seeing someone drunk and acting a fool on the road, because they are putting everyone in danger . I have no tolerance for people who hurt kids or the eldery either . argggh!
Other wise I'm a very easy going person, ha!

They go 35-40 mph in the parking lot and underground parking lots! It's insane and it really is a dangerous situation. I have young children and I worry a great deal that one day we'll be struck by these inconsiderate drivers.
I think where family is concerned, well I don't always protect them just because they are my family. My brother's sitting in prison right now and I'm glad he's there. He deserves all he gets, and I'm not going along with the family with "He's still a good Christian man". Bah!
