My 2 1/2 year old grandson is starting to grasp what it is all about, but, he does not want to wear "big boy pants." He says "I want to wear my diaper." Therefore, if he happens to go potty in his pants no big deal because there is a diaper there. Do you think he is just not quite ready? | | | | | | 1.  cher913 (13664) | 10 months ago |  every one that i know have pretty much bribed their kids with smarties or a treat at the end of the week. you can carry on as you are doing but i think it will take some time for the idea to sink in. they say it takes longer for boys to be trained than it takes girls.
