do you think that God will provide for us?  | |  well, that is what I believe, claim, and hold on to. I hold on to the fact that God is my personal God and He knows what we need even before we ask of it.
my husband is resigning from work. but we also experienced several times in the past when he had to struggle financially but God provided for us in unexpected ways. so we believe with all our hearts that God will let us down and provide for us...
we are expecting our first child anytime this month. and we are sooo excited to hold her in our arms.:-)
we trust in the Lord's provision. He will not fail us.

Jesus died so God would be able to teach and guide each of us but He expects us to listen to Him and let Him teach us how to do for ourselves. Just to sit down and think God is going to do everything for you is foolish and it will never happen.
I agree we are going into something that if people don't learn to depend on God they may not make it. However we must listen to God and do what He tells us to.It very well could prove to be the only way will get through this thing alive. God has the information we will need but in order to receive it most people are going to have to be a lot closer to Him than they are now.

| | 6.  carpenter5 (1853) | 9 months ago |  He promises in his word that he will supply all our needs. He doesn't say he will supply all our wants and I think that is where many get into trouble, and fall short on their faith. They expect to just sit back and God meet every want in their life.
We too have had times in our marriage where God provided in very unexpected ways. We have never not have a roof over our heads, nor have we ever gone hungry.
