Ready for the new G.I. Joe movie?

I recently found out that there is going to be a live action version of this franchize coming out soon in Aug. 09.
As a kid I was not really a big fan I gi joe(even though I did watch the cartoon.) I didn't collect the action figures( even though I did have one or two of them.) I just wasn't into it.
Well, anyhoo, I saw a couple of the trailers for the movie and it actually looked good. Like some blow'em up, bang, bang type stuff. I saw what a few of the characters looked like and they looked alright. I want to see how they'll tweek Cobra's image. From what I remember as a kid, he was always running around in a mask yelling," Retreat!!" Well, mylotters, tell me what you think.

I really dont know what to think about this movie. from the one preview I saw it looked like a transformers movie at least thats what I thought when I first saw the trailer at the superbowl. But im not really a fan of GI JOE to begin with but ill probally see this movie depending on reviews if it does well then ill deffintley see it if not im skipping like street fighter.

It's coming on to the big screen some time in August this year. It may get pushed back for the holidays, but I think they'll get it out before Halloween, just so they can get them G.I.Joe costumes out in time. Go, Joe!!!
