Do you get up and go for a walk?  |

Sometimes when I am on the computer for too long, and I will get up, go downstairs and walk around to clear my mind or just to take a bit of rest. When I go for walks like this, I don't usually have a purpose! I just walk here and there for around 15-20 minutes, then I get back up and work again. So what about you? Or what do you do to relax yourself when you think that you are on the computer for too long?

well i do not exactly remember to take a break unless i am sooo tired already. but well, i have to go to the bathroom from time to time, so i guess that is already my break. or sometimes, i get hungry and need to get food outside, so i would go out of my room and eat. then go back to work again.
my working hours are already pretty erratic at this time because of my pregnancy. so i rest when i need to and just go back. i think i rest more than i work. hehe

I will put cloths on to wash and come back to mylot. Sweep and mop the floors and do a few more mylots . My time at mylot is my breaks . It's where I take a break from what I'm doing .

During the winter, I use my treadmill but, since it was a bit more comfortable outside finally, I walked for a little over an hour. I love to grab my mp3 player and just walk to the music. It's probably the most relaxing thing I do for myself and I'll probably be doing it daily again, now that I can get outdoors. Generally, I walk about 6 days a week. I live walking distance from a river so it's very enjoyable to walk along the water. Very peaceful. Kind of "resets" my energy and stress level, you know?:)

5. drannhh (7573) | 10 months ago | I like to go for frequent walks, but not while at the computer. Usually then I pop up to do bits of housework instead. I love being at the computer and really could if other circumstances allowed just live there, probably, so going away from it is not so much for a rest as because I have to do other things.

We don't necessarily have to go somewhere just to walk but we can take a walk in our neighborhood and enjoy the day. I mean it's healthy and really will do good.
