What's a real spaghetti made up of?  | |  I live in the Philippines. And we simply have to insist on our ways. Take the spaghetti case for example. Whenever I try to cook one of those Italian inspired ones, it simply gets ignored, I get blaimed and to add to the insult, I have to eat it myself, all of it. Spaghetti in the Philippines is considered perfect if it tastes like jollibee's. Anything else simply are not worth tasting (at least for most people I know). Children were introduced to Jollibee's sweet spaghetti and grow up liking only sweet spaghetti. I also cook spaghetti with a sweet taste because like your experience, if I cook it Italian style, they don't like it.
