Will Obama be cruel like bush too?

Cruel? Oh, you must mean the record amount of money that Bush put into AIDS research right? That was so cruel of him. No, that's not it. You must be referring to how cruel it was to give more aid to impoverished and starving people in Africa than any national leader in history. I suppose it could also be his cruelty in Afghanistan where women can actually go to school and learn to read for once. It was cruel of him to oust the Taliban so they could no longer beat women in the streets. I guess those AIDS victims, and starving people in Africa can only PRAY for Obama to be as cruel as Bush was.

To be honest, I did not want Obama to be president. I was really rooting for Hillary Clinton, but when it came down to it, I voted democratic. I like Obama and I think he will make some positive changes in the economy. We have to remember one thing...we did not get in this mess over night and Obama did not create this mess. It was created by the party that was in office before he arrived on the scene. We were constantly told..."the economy is not in a recession and it will bounce back!" It didn't and it still hasn't. We didn't get in this mess over night and we are certainly not going to resolve these issues overnight. It is going to take a lot of work, and working together to get this economy to what it should be.

I agree with Tasker36.
Bush was not cruel, okay he said and done what he though and sometimes it wasn't the best of choices. But Bush really was my favourite president and people who badmouth him must not want a president what defends America and helps others.
You're also forgetting that Bush was in power in one of the hardest decades in U.S modern history. War,poverty, terrorism and the techinical revoulotion.

When was Bush cruel? If you mean by saying Detainees don't get Constitutional rights, Obama said the same thing. If you mean about the war on terror, Obama is continueing it. So please explain where Bush was "cruel".
