What kind of vacuum do you like better bagless or bag?  

I prefer a bagless. One is that you dont have to keep wasting money on bags and I can empty it out everytime. We have a lab inside and you can only imagine how much he sheds and the bags that I would go through. We vacuum everyday and have to empty the container out each day. I would hate to be buying bags.

I prefer a bagless vacuum cleaner.
Apart from the fact that bags cost money... I forget to buy them!
I empty mine in the bin outside so the dust doesn't go everywere!
Definately cheaper in the long run!

I like the bagless. I never have to worry about running out of bags. I can empty it whenever and to avoid the dust issue too much I usually put a small plastic bag around it as I empty it or I make sure its far inside the can when I empty it.

i think that both kinds of the vacuum cleaners have their advantages and disadvantages of owning. i have owned both kinds of vacuum cleaners before and i do like the one that i have that has the bagless compartment on it. it comes off to empty, and also you can wash it and let it dry and put it back on the vacuum cleaner. but i know what you mean when that you say that dust goes everywhere when that you empty the container. but it is also a mell when that a vacuum cleaner with the bag attached to it explodes! yikes! that makes an even bigger mess. i have thought to myself before, well the bag has enough room in it to hold one more time of vacuuming, but that hasn't always been the case. so i do enjoy the vacuum cleaners that do not have the bags on them better.

I have a bag vacuum cleaner. My hubby said the bagless ones are too messy. I don't like changing the bag but it's not too bad I guess. I have a problem with it smelling bad. I used to think it was from the dogs coming inside and their hair getting on the carpet in my old house, but now in my new house they don't come inside. So I guess it's just from the vacuum cleaner so I change the bag more often even if it's not full.

I have used them all most dont last longer than I year I like the bag the most if the ones that use it check the bag to see that it is full . I am paying $2,000 fo rmy vac and they arent taking care of it and the main one that uses it dont care! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I prefer the ones with no bag. I use to have one with a bag and it seemed I was always having to buy new bags. And there was so many times that I would go to vaccum only to find out the bad was completely full and I didn't have any to replace it so I would have to wait till I went to the store to vaccum. The ones with no bag you just dump when it gets full. No having to worry about buying bags. I try to dump it really slow so the dust don't get all over and I usually don't have a problem with it.

I like the bagless but I agree the dust can be a problem. I usually take mine outside when I empty it. I like the bagless because you don't have to worry about buying bags all the time or the product being discontinued and not being able to find the bags. Otherwise they are a lot cleaner as far as the dust thing.
