Hip Hop and rap is changing for the better. one of the undercurrent effects of the the Obama movement is a change in the culture of Hip-Hop.
Obama brings a new aura of intelligence and hope that tends to say you cant settle.
Rappers can no longer settle for just ego rap, (rapping about how great they are. They also cannot just settle for attack or rank rap ( Talking about how bad someone else is, usually a rap competitor.
Of Course this does not mean that artists will totally stop using the N word or cursing, or talking about how they control women. But the tone of Rap has begun to change.
There is a list about positive related to Obama and other positive songs that also have come out. If this is any indication Rap is in for a change and will become an integral part of our society.
